Grant Schemes

Grants between £250 - £5000 are available for volunteer led community groups working exclusively in the area of Stoke-On-Trent and Staffordshire.

Grants between £100 - £250 are available for volunteer led community groups working to relieve poverty and disadvantage.

Grants between £4000 - £10,000 are available for volunteer led community groups working exclusively in the area of Stoke-On-Trent and Staffordshire.

The Staffordshire Community Foundation has excellent connections with Staffordshire, good geographic knowledge, a passion for local Staffordshire based projects and we run local schemes soley for Staffordshire so you won't have to worry about competing with the rest of the UK. We have grants suitable for local third sector and charity groups, community and voluntary groups and private individuals. Applicants have a high success rate; when last measured 77% of all applications were successful in gaining some funding.

At the Staffordshire Community Foundation we appreciate how difficult it can be to send in the right paperwork and because of this we never refuse incomplete applications. If an application is incomplete we will call you, explain what is missing and how you can change it. We will keep your application on file until all the paperwork is complete.

We have monthly decision making panels and you will almost always go to the very next one after all your paperwork is present. This means you will wait little more than three weeks for a decision. Within a few days after a panel meeting we will inform you of the result and send you a contract to sign. As soon as you return your signed contract our finance office will arrange the issue of your cheque.
