Grants From The Staffordshire Community Foundation
Please view each individual page to see the criteria for each scheme, along with a list of documents which must be submitted to support your application, (an example can be seen bottom right). If the documents are not submitted within 6 months the application will be cancelled and a re-application will have to be made. These documents differ with each scheme and so please pay particular attention to the relevant scheme.
Please pay attention to the 'QuickView' box, (an example can be seen top right), which will give bullet point information such as minimum and maximum award, what sort of body provides the funding, whether public body, national or local charity or a private or corporate trust. This box will also give information about the next closing date and the area in which you must be based, (it is not unusual for a scheme to apply specifically to one or more areas within the county). Whilst exceptions and leeway can sometimes be made, the information contained in this box is non-negotiable and must be met in order for an application to proceed.
Links are available from each page to the relevant application forms or online application, if available, (an example can be seen middle right). Application forms and criteria will differ for each scheme, so please only use the forms that are available on the scheme page. If an award is made, we will issue a contract, or terms & conditions sheet, which gives details of who the funding is for and what it can be used for. This should be signed and returned to us before we can pay your award. It should be sent within 6 weeks, otherwise it may result in the grant offer being rescinded and the award reallocated.
We also provide links to download monitoring and report forms, where appropriate, which must be submitted at the end of the grant. We will also expect to see evidence of spend, such as receipts, so please keep these safe in the event of a grant. If any scheme should differ from this we will notify you before any award is made.
You should be aware that the Staffordshire Community Foundation may share information about your application or award with other grant-giving bodies. This is primarily to ensure that if you are unable to secure funding through us we can direct you to another, more suitable scheme. However, it can also be used to prevent multiple applications for the same thing and to ensure that any award made is used appropriately.
If you need any help or assistance with the completion of your application form or with your supporting documents please do not hesitate to contact us. There will always be someone available to help.
