About Us
The Staffordshire Community Foundation (SCF) understands the local community. We identify local needs and mobilise local resources. We support local causes including arts and culture, education, environment, health, children and young people, community development and the elderly.
We distribute grants on behalf of Government and public organisations, as well as private donors and smaller endowment funds. We have comprehensive grant-making policies and procedures, combined with extensive knowledge and understanding of the local community and its needs, therefore ensuring grants are targeted responsibily and carefully.
The Board of Trustees are drawn from across Staffordshire and have a wide variety of backgrounds to ensure that we reflect the diverse communities within the county.
We are affliliated to the Community Foundation Network, a rapidly growing family of 58 foundations now established across the country.
